About Jeffrey Reames

Jeff credits his 11th grade teacher for prompting him to write and have fun with his creative mind.

He credits John Grisham for really introducing him to the "page turner."

So, when he's not chasing after three dogs, a rambunctious six year old, and wife, he attempts to write.

He's ready for others to read and enjoy his varied collection from children's to teen adventure, suspense/thriller, to horror. And, like many authors has pieces of all lengths to enthrall all his readers and hopefully, leave them wanting a bit more!

I thought the story was well written. Quite an enjoyable read.

I need to start with the formatting. In PDF and RTF, the words were scattered all over the screen, which made reading the story difficult. HTML and JAVASCRIPT didn’t have that problem.

Now to the story. Nicely written though ending with a rather typically clichéd finish. I wonder if we are supposed to think that Casey let Lenny hit the last pitch. If it was a fastball it was unlikely Lenny could have been expected to connect with it. Nice that he came out the hero, though.

Lenny smiles is a classic story and I have to wonder if this is a subconscious reference to Lenny from Of Mice and Men?

Well written. Formatting has no paragraph seperation.

Highly enjoyable and only 800wrds. Everyone has time to stop and read this one; it is worth your five minutes.
