About Adrienne LaCava

LaCava grew up in 1960s Texas and has always loved history. JFK's assassination imprinted her sense of identity at an early age, not being one of those hostile, lawless Texans the press talked about. After marrying a Dallas man, the work of historians and researchers so plentiful there, got her seeking truths behind Camelot on a lark. During fiction studies at SMU later on, she invented a family impacted by political assassination, and through those characters explored the imprint on our collective psyche. Countless personal stories were affected while the nation came apart. LaCava and hubby laugh a lot, they are blessed with grown children who are wonderful humans, and a grandson smitten with stories of other times too. Reliance on two rescued mutts as her muses keeps the writer grounded: in mirth and agreeability.
