About Mark J Diez

Born in the North of England, Mark moved South at 20 years old, living in the South East and working in London. The working time 'down-south' being spent in manufacturing, IT and security testing, where the art of writing endless streams of narrative and instructive text was mastered over many years. Between writing the collective hundresds of White Papers, Blog Posts, Training Courses and YouTube Video scripts the current non-fiction word count stands at just around 2 million words. After 20 years along that questionable path, he moved even further South to Málaga in Spain, where he know lives with his wife and son.

The siren's call of London continues however, with ongoing demands on his skills at producing great documents. When on the weekly commute to and from Spain and the UK, living in hotels and spending evenings avoiding sleep, Mark escapes the demands of earning an 'honest' living and writes the Hannover and Malartú Series of novels, novellas and short stories.

Harkening to the war-cry of his wife, "Write more stories!", he is driven hard to tip the balance towards the fiction word count and once and for all realise the passion of a lifetime - to be author resident of the Diez household!
