About Bryan Lee

I'm a native Californian who finally made it back from the East coast. I grew up on a steady diet of Twilight Zone and Outer Limits television episodes, and own an autographed first edition of John Stanley's Creature Features Movie Guide. I love old-fashioned monsters, think serial killer movies are boring, and am still terrified by that stupid rubber squid in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

I agree with David. This could be turned into a novel, or series! I encourage the author to expand on this short.

Where is the rest? It starts out good, but after 8 pages it stops. This is more like a movie trailer to get you interested for the full story.

This was a short story of what I assumed to be a werewolf with the tendency to still obtain his human feelings of right and wrong. The story begins with a woman being accosted by two men that apparently have the mind to violate her and likely even murder her as she is out late one night jogging. You can likely guess who... or actually what comes to her rescue. It's a well-written story from the prospective of the werewolf describing what he sees and how it makes him feel as he watches this take place.

A quick read with bite. It's definitely worth checking out.

An enjoyable read, but it does need to be completed. It's a slight let down that it's not.

This is a great first chapter to a book, I'm presuming?

Pretty decent premise but seemed to rely more on telling than showing. A bit too much reliance on passive voice, and some of the wording indicates the protagonist is in human form rather than wolf at times. Has potential.

After Dark is a great short story, but I am hopeful that there are more to come. Great job with the writing.

After Dark is fast paced and interesting throughout. The cliffhanger ending leaves plenty of room for future stories and I look forward to seeing them.
