This is the story of Sarah and James, a young Amish couple who are in love and want to marry. Their families are not crazy about that idea because of Sarah's desire to own a big successful restaurant where she can pursue her culinary dreams, not all of which are acceptable in her community.

Sarah and James must come to terms about their feelings for each other, their spiritual faith, as well as their families and figure out a way to either stay together or not.

This story is also about listening, not just hearing. It is well written, an easy read, and well recommended.
