An unexpected tale of opportunity in the rental market. Inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and Roald Dahl.

Reviews of The Front Door by Barbara Jaques

While it claims to be inspired by earlier works, I found it to be a fresh and original work. I have read both of the inspiration authors, and I enjoyed this as much or more than the older works.

It is currently categorized as fantasy, but it can stand as science fiction (IMHO). The science is in the back ground, but sufficient to support the story. The plausibility to be true in the future exists.
