Eugenio Castellotti

Eugenio Castellotti was a skilled racer whose career began in Italy's famed Mille Miglia in 1951. He entered a Ferrari that he had purchased from a local benefactor, leaving the Brescia ramp at 3:30 am in the morning on race day. The scion of a wealthy Lodi, Italy family, Eugenio raced Lancia cars until the marque merged with Scuderia Ferrari in late 1955. From 1956- January '57 he raced Ferraris. More
