Betty Brown was a busy girl at the university. Over the years she had several boyfriends, and two girlfriends, but settled for James Wilder. Now in this Florida town the police found her stabbed to death. Stabbed with too many knife wounds. It became detective Smart's job to find the perpetrator. It took Smart over a year to go through all the suspects. This dead woman Betty Brown had what the detective could see had no enemies. So the first thing to do was to find out he reason for her killing. Going through each one of the over one hundred guests at Betty's and James engagement party, took over one month. And each one of the suspects had a good alibi. The case was handed over to detective Pedro Gonzales, after Betty's parents and James Wilder had complained that nothing was done to find the person, or persons, that killed Betty Brown. Gonzales to accept the case demanded to get at least one psychologist in his team, and after that was agreed upon, his team sat down to go through what Detective Smart had done, and arrived to. First each one of the group should write down who they believed were the killer of Betty Brown. Then going through the list, we will start with the one that has the most votes. One of the previous boyfriends had three votes, and became the first to be interrogated. He turned out to be clean, the same with number two. Each of the suspects on Gonzales list were cleared. Now there was only one left. Jane, one of Betty's best friends. Let's pick her up and get the show started said Gonzales. When they arrived to Jane's place, she was gone. She had seen how all the others were cleared, and understood that it now was her own turn. Jane couldn't understand what had taken the police so long. This Betty had stolen my boyfriend, and had to be punished. James has to marry me so we can have our family and children together, everyone knows that. She turned her car around and drove home to James, knocking at the door, she said when he opened. Pack your bags we are have to leave. What are you talking about, the police is after you for killing Betty. When he said that she shot him in the leg. While he complained about pain in the leg, and needed Jane to help him pack. He phoned the 911 and said that Jane is in my apartment, and she has a gun. Jane was taken, and was sentenced to thirty years, the first year in an asylum.
