Mike Parkes

Mike Parkes was injured severely in 1967 when his Ferrari slipped on oil laid down by a BRM driven by Jackie Stewart. Parkes never recovered fully but he did return to racing in 1970. He worked as an engineer for Ferrari and Lancia before he was killed in Turin, Italy when his Lancia car ran into a lorry. He began his racing career and had many great runs at Silverstone, Goodwood, etc. More
