I love stories involving mer people, and you don't see enough of them. The author was able to give the protagonist an appropriately alien mindset, and I found some of the aspects of selkie culture interesting.

so the story Centers around the mer Girl, you dont get to know much about the other caracters but so far it is a interestin short Story and i realy would like to know more becouse it seems verry interesting so far.

Being a fan of selkie stories I had to try this one,
was glad I did.
Shows promise of developing into an interesting tale.
