Piero Carini was a multi-talented driver for Ferrari in the 1950s, one who caught the attention of the Ferrari executives in Modena. It was in 1953 that Carini joined the works Ferrari team in what was essentially a back up role to top driver Umberto Maglioli. He moved on to Alfa Romeo in 1954, Carini was driving a Ferrari Testa Rosa in a St. Etienne sports car race when he was killed. More
