This is an exceptionally creative, almost surreal short story. The author does an exceptional job at world-building and characterization in such a short medium. The author's descriptions are vivid and concrete notwithstanding the Salvador Dali-esque feel of the story. Wonderfully written; excellent read.

Any good allegory of good versus evil should draw you in and make you think. Rarely, however, does a short work do this with as much eloquence as this. Mr. Thoreau has a gift for syntax and phrasing that is a joy to read. I recommend that you buy this now because if you don't you will one day be purchasing it an anthology of this writer's early work.
