Angel and Tom frolic more than a puppy in a field of daisies. Ever the loving pair, Tom shows his devotion to Angel by making her a toy chest. For easy access, discovery, new things to try, love, and show off.
The story touches on how long the couple had been together. Their history if what binds them and what makes Tom want to let Angel explore new and exciting ways to excite herself. Angel takes on the naughty toys with a curiosity and surge of exploration.
The inclusion of Andrew, Angel's new better half, in this story, doesn't seem to faze Tom. Nor does it seem to faze Andrew. In all the confusion and back and forth with Andrew and Tom, the subservient doll she wants to be for Tom, Angel comes to a realization. "She was either part of the lion pride or she was prey." Angel was either the hunter, or the hunted. The teacher or the student. The spider or the fly.
Angel and Tom are complex, and both desperately want something from the other. Angel, to please Tom. Tom, to push Angel's boundaries while making sure she gets the pleasure he feels she deserves.
