Frostbitten Hearts is a short, intense, and action-packed novella, set in the same world as the Bonded by Blood Vampire Chronicles but following a set of Elemental characters, rather than Broderick and Davina.

Jack and Aideen are both captives in a 'nursery'. When an opportunity to escape comes, Jack takes it, and wants Aideen to go with him. Although she doesn't want to be parted from Jack, her father forcibly restrains her, whilst knocking Jack unconscious. For the next ten years, they are apart - Aideen keeping hope that Jack will find her, and Jack constantly looking.

Well written, with no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this novella is an exciting addition to the series and definitely gives more insight to the world of the Elementals. Definitely recommended.
