About Melony Nelson

I grew up in small town Arkansas on my grandparents farm which only fed my ever growing love of animals. I eventually went on to join the ARMY and move to Virginia, Mississippi, and Kentucky before returning to Arkansas. I am the proud mom of two wonderful teens and a very spoiled pit bull who is convinced he is a baby. I love escaping the day to day life with writing, reading, traveling and cooking.

This book tugged at my heart, touching my soul, relating to moments that I have experienced throughout my life--sadness, dark moments of my soul. It relates beautifully to the life of trees and human experiences, rain and tears shed, fusing into one--of such wisdom and magnificence.🌞πŸ”₯πŸŒ³πŸ’¦πŸŒ²

As a lover of both poetry and photography, this books was absolutely perfect for me. Ms. Nelson's way with words is one that you will never forget as you let each painful, emotive line absorb into your very being. Her photography is outstanding, capturing dark, dead trees and giving them life again among her words.

Seriously an amazing read, one you will not regret picking up. I've re-read it several times just to experience the prose over and over again. Highly recommended, and very artistic as well.
