I found Hack, by Chris Deggs, to be an exciting read.
The characters, who expand to larger than life-size, had me rapt from beginning to end.
Alex Meyer the protagonist, is a cyber-security expert. He is hired to track down a person hacking into the world bank. With a CIA agent tracking Meyer himself, our hero delves into the hackers' covert world of aggression and paranoia to catch his quarry.
I was held spellbound as the novel revealed to me some little known facts of of the machinations of the World Bank.
It took me, a novice, into the dark, clandestine world of hacking. I followed professional hackers, as they used their skills to outwit each other and the bank as the plot unfolded.
I couldn't put the book down!
