About Teri Ames

Teri Ames worked in the criminal justice system in Vermont for twelve years, four of those as a state prosecutor, eventually specializing in domestic and sexual violence. She is a graduate of Cornell Law School.

In 2012, she was falsely accused of abusing her child. It was an eye-opening and traumatizing experience that has become the emotional base for her creative writing and driven her to become an advocate for criminal justice reform.

After the charges against her were dismissed, Teri spent a year in Mexico, recovering from the trauma and writing her first novel, "All About the Greater Good."
