The author meticulously explains each technique accentuating the key points, so you get the full concept of how it works. And this is essential because by understanding the concept you may then go on improvising and building lessons in your own way. So although this book focuses primarily on group/pair work, the methods also work for those who teach in a one-to-one format - with just one student who quite often happens to be reluctant to talk.
