This isn't a genre I would normally read, but having read it, I may change my mind (at least where this author is concerned). Rhine hits her stride in chapter two and from there the flow swept me through to the end. Her skill at writing dialogue is incredibly fluid and engaging. I read this book in a day and a half and at the end found myself pleased with how she wove the story and endeared the characters to me. I know this was to be her last vampire book, but I pray she reconsiders. I fell in love with the characters and would really enjoy another book or two.
