Writer & musician

Was: Running a vibrant, amazing music studio in Pretoria, with my husband. Writing and running a small publisher on the side.

Now: Struggling to find my feet in Ireland, South Africa's crime destroyed all we had and my husband's life was taken brutally and pointlessly. Mercifully he saved our 3 beautiful children, but he died doing it. We (the 3 and I) are rebuilding our life in Ireland. He was supposed to be the integral part of this. It is hard.

Iain has been my inspiration for the past 26 years and his energy and initiative are at the basis of most things I attempted. We did everything together. When others said "you must be crazy to try this or that" he was the one to say "let's do it!" He always believed. In himself. In me. In us. In that there is Good in the world.

Not currently writing. Be patient.

About the Series: Shortstory collection
A motley collection of shortstories by Lyz Russo. These stories are sometimes the result of dreams or the outcome of observing something odd.

Some are funny, some are not.

Enjoy!

I really liked this story, cute, sweet, with a touch of devilry, and as Lyz says, a happy ending!
