Aatmasutra-Unveiling the Soul

Rated 4.93/5 based on 14 reviews
The greatest challenge is to learn to accept yourself in-spite of all the odds, the negative thoughts and pangs of guilt. Aatma Sutra is a guide to self acceptance on and ‘as is where is’ basis. It then progresses on the formula for attaining self worth and self love and finally, justifies the concept of self reverence. A book of this magnitude and wealth can only be destined for a chosen few! More

This book opened up a whole new dimension on Supreme Consciousness for me. The author talks about you being a part of the Supreme Consciousness as much as anyone else you look up to or desire to be. Being able to accept yourself with all your flaws is not easy, but the author simplifies this for you and talks about the role of destiny. A highly recommended read for those searching for answers within the self.

This book does not only aid you in discovering yourself, it also shows you ways of how to love yourself intrinsically. The appeal of the text is not only limited to a religious person, but extends to agnostics and even atheists. Gives a realistic approach of how to continue on the spiritual journey we all have already embarked on and gives the larger picture of a relatively insignificant material world that we consider ourselves to live in.

The book tackles some very heavy topics in the most simplistic way, reasoning with your mind at every step about the significance or the insignificance of every thought, action and result around you.
Simplified concepts, thought provoking and a very conversational read, which if followed, will definitely make you feel like a better version of yourself

Of all the books I've read, this is the one which has transformed my life most significantly. It quite literally changed the way I engage with the world and opened the door for me to embark down a path of more peace, joy, and inner freedom than I could have ever imagined. A must recommend for anyone who has that great quench of how the Soul dwells and nourishes!

I read Aatma Sutra at a time when the experiences of life threw a whole lot of questions at me. Questions about whether I understood myself, whether I knew where I was going, what I was doing and why I was doing what I was doing?
Strange as it may sound, but I not only got the answers to all the questions, but I also learnt to accept and love myself just as I am! It taught me not to take life so seriously.
The book is written in a conversational style which made me feel as if I am sitting across the table and chatting with the author. Refreshingly the language is simple which makes some of the difficult to grasp spiritual concepts easy to understand. Love the real life experiences shared in the book.
Thank you for introducing me to the concept of spirituality in its true form, which can be practiced without having to comply with the pseudo robes and images we see around us.
Looking forward to reading more books from this author!

Being the second book by the same author, this book has been an eye opener of sorts. Larger than life content put in simple words. It educates the reader of what has never been thought in schools or colleges before. It has assisted in establishing the fact that God is a frequency that exists within, all we need to do is tune in.

A book that makes you rethink your own place in the universe. The author encourages you to love yourself and peppers the book with amazing insights and real life stories. Beautifully written with a message that needs to be hammered home in a day and age where the narrative is about negativity and self criticism rather than self love and positivity.

After reading Karma Sutra by the same author, I was curious and excited to read the second book. All I can say is that it exceeded all my expectations. Easy to read synopsis of new and ancient wisdom presented in a manner that makes it easy to absorb and 'suck-up' like a sponge! Thank you Hingori! The humility and sincerity with which you write is like none other. I found this book life changing and have ordered five more copies to hand over to my friends and family - and I am certain they will love it too!

It's a great book to read. My favorite poem in this book is called 'The stranger who knocked on my door'. This is a conversation between the future and the present. The book is well written. A must read

I read both the Sutra series books by Hingori. This book showed me that there is no superior or inferior in this world; we are a part of the same divinity. This realisation made me look at myself, my friends and family with a new perspective. And I love the authour's sense of humour!
