About Michael Angel

Michael Angel’s worlds of contemporary fantasy range from the unicorn-ruled world of the Morning Land to the gritty underside of Los Angeles. Author of the bestselling Centaur of the Crime – where C.S. Lewis meets CSI – his books populate shelves in languages from Russian to Portuguese.

He currently resides in Southern California. Alas, despite keeping a keen eye out for griffins, centaurs, or pegasi, none have yet put in an appearance on Hollywood Boulevard.

Michael Angel’s welcome mat is out at his website, so feel free to visit:

Review by: Lilac Moon Books on June 13, 2011 :
Angel writes a clever tale here. His narrator's voice is snappy and clever, and, even better, the story grabs you and will not let go, dragging you through one disaster after another to a totally satisfying end with a surprising twitch before letting you go and eager for more of this welcome addition to stories.
Adults and Young Adults will enjoy Angel's writing.
The teaser for the fantasy mystery novel afterward had this reader scrambling to buy it. Good stuff

Review by: Coy McLain on May 31, 2011 :
An action-packed, or at least rowdy, parable of the need for cultural adaptation. Reinforced with an illustration of the necessity of being able to duck quickly.
How would the Bard phrase that?
