A must read book. Usually I don't read books where there is a female main protagonist (just my taste), but the author's great characterization quicky drew me into this book. It starts a bit slow, but that's okay, because the characters become more well rounded. There are many reference to pop culture things (Clash of Clans, Jason Bourne and so on) and I really liked that a lot. The author is a great storyteller and the mythological reference too kept me hooked.
Beware, there is a talking squirrel in this book.

I guess it is fine for a teenager, but not so entertaining for an adult. Too much angst, and mood swings that make no sense. Holes in the story need filling, and the usual spelling/words usage issues.

Great book! Fast paced, fun and well-written. Loved the characters -- wish I was fae! My tween is reading it now, too.

I couldn't put it down, got sucked in from page one. I read a lot of paranormal fantasy books, along with all the old classics. This new author has a fantastic writing style. She gets the mannerisms and lingo of teens down perfectly, and the story moves along a good clip without feeling rushed. The plot and characters were all well-developed. There's action, danger love interests, and lots of humor. I wanted to dive into the book and live in that world. The fae world sounds amazing. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
