About M. C. Calip

I am a Civil Engineer by profession. Never knew not a single cent that I would publish a book with my name on it. It’s a marvelous feeling, like floating in a cloud, with birds singing and I giggling.

My brother, Audie, encouraged me to write books and help me find myself loving it.

“I write what I wanted to read... but I am interested to anything that I can read and write.”

Reading the first few pages of the short story written book had captured me in many ways. I had found myself reading and imagining all the scenes in the book. It is a simple, typical love story that can be made like a "teleserye."

The story is all about a love story and that had gone haywire with the hidden, longtime, loyal and respectful love of Jake to Regina. I loved the twist and having all those concealed secrets between friends & family, once revealed, have caused something that would bring all the people to their happy ending. It may be your typical love story but the series of events would make the reader want to find out what would happen next.

I am proud of the Author and would like to encourage her to create more stories similar to this. I do highly recommend this story/book to Filipinos who would love a good read of romantic comedy and an array of twist in life.

I love this 1st book of the author. I love it not because the author is my best friend, but because the story itself is so compelling with beautiful created twist in every chapter. It's a variety about family, secrets, respect over anger, repentance and forgiveness, friendship and love so you won't get boring. I read it one-time from start to end, no hands down. Along the way you will realized the lesson learned especially when it comes to family drama. How love can wait.

All the characters were written beautifully in a way that everyone has a major part in the story. Keeping the Filipino culture in this day and age in a modern story is quite delightful to read. I just wish Ms. Calip will release an English book for more readers.

I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially Filipinos.
