Living an means feeling great about everything you do. And in order to feel awesome about everything you do you've got to fuel your body right.

I discovered the Paleo diet 3 years ago and it literally changed my life from a stressful one to one that makes me want to do cartwheels out of bed in the morning.

I'm Canadian and we love our camping, firepits and BBQs, but that also meant I was carrying around a bit of a tire thanks to thick, juicy burgers on pillowy buns and craft beer weekends.
And it wasn't just that, it was also eating a lot of convenience food and lots of sugar for energy.

My food lifestyle was literally making me sick and tired when I came across the Paleo diet online during one of my google searches for a recipe. I liked the concept and I liked the fact that I could eat a lot of the stuff I liked.

One of the biggest issues I had with other diets was that I was left feeling hungry ... which meant I would spend half the day thinking about food and the other half thinking that I shouldn't be thinking about food. However, eating the Paleo way left me feeling full and also left me feeling full of energy thanks to the fact that I wasn't eating junky, clog-my-body stuff.

I've always been an avid cook - food nut - so I started concocting new recipes with the Paleo guidelines - I started serving the deliciousness to my boyfriend and he loved it! I starting cooking that way for our family dinner parties and lo and behold my parents and brother and sister loved it!

So we're kind of a Paleo gang now!

I thought I would share some of my creations with other people who might be looking for ways to eat great, lose weight, feel healthy and so that's what I'm doing.

My new thing is one week of smoothie blasts for every month - you seriously feel awesome after the week. Plus smoothies are so easy. Plus, plus they've got a ton of.antioxidants that blast all the free radicals that are trying to age your gorgeous self.
