I purchased this book because I wrote something similar and I wanted to see how another author would handle the material. It, I feel, is difficult to tell a story with ties to the past, yet set in the world of now; Flint of Dreams accomplishes that. The characters are strong. The drama and action come on quickly and Charles Peterson Sheppard holds throughout the book, telling a tale that lets you into a world you may have wondered about. Flint, Chase, Crystine, I love the characters and enjoyed this book completely. I'm looking for more from this author.
