A great collection of poems covering everything from political strife to rural life in Ireland. Clearly written by a person who knows all this with intimate details. My grandmother grew up in Ireland and left when she was 13 for New York. She went back many times over the years and always told us about our relatives and showed us pictures. These poems resonated with me because of the ancestral connection. Thanks for sharing.
