Welcome to the Library of the Universes.
In it you will find many tales; adventures and horrors; love and loss. You will find heroes and heroines of all temperaments and backgrounds. You will fly through space; fight in wars; face beasts and ghosts.
And as you read, you will find yourself drawn into this place, this Library of ancient Lore, and discover the truths that lie in the Universes and between them. Tales of ancient Evil that may still rise again and the Good that opposes it.
Through the words and the pages will you lift the veil and then, O weary traveler, you might find that which you seeked, though I warn you, you might find more than you wished.
But come then, find a seat, make yourself at home. Let me show you some books that might take your fancy and let's go on some adventures, you and I.

I really loved this set of books, the writing was great as were the characters and the action. There are some nice pokes at the British and the American's and a whole host of interesting characters and worlds along with a ships AI that would make Douglas Adams proud.
The first book is pretty light-hearted and we're introduced to a number of characters that will make you smile.
With book 2, things become a bit more serious as the adventures deepen and events unfold, there are some unexpected twists and turns, a few deaths of characters that you're just getting to know and a lot of hitmen that have thought they are at the top of their game.
Then finally with book 3, it's more serious though there are still some funny moments in it that bring light to an otherwise darker side of life, more unexpected twists and turns and some interesting character relevations and interactions.
The aliens are described well, as are the worlds and it is easy to visualise them when reading and fully immerse yourself into the story.
Lots of action both in space and on planets, battles, fights and some tongue-in-cheek humour make this a set of books worth reading.

Cool book, kept me reading because I was curious how it would continue. The writing style is light and easy to follow even if English is not your primary language.

I really enjoyed this trilogy, which almost surprised me. I don't normally read this genre, and the writing is lacking in complexity. Under normal circumstances, I find that unappealing in a novel. However, in this case it is charming and casual. The straightforward narration is unpretentious and frank, and unapologetically interactive with the reader. The characters are well constructed and in general they are multifaceted. I look forward to reading the other works by 'Dangerous' Walker!
I do have a couple questions though.. what happened to the book that Chase got from the cultists? Did the jumpsuits save him from the exploding Strangers ship? I would have liked a flashback chapter for that after his survival is revealed.
