This is a cleverly written piece of literature. I found myself totally immersed in the story and quite moved emotionally with the ending. I guess if you have older parents or grandparents who have been affected by older aged diseases, this story will make an impact, while also highlighting, life is short, make the most of it.

A poetic memoir of a life told from a unique point of view. The author's voice seems to mature with the story, with the advancing age of the main character. Switches between nice descriptions to cutting dialog and reflection.

Time Doesn't Wait - this title gives you a little sneak peek at what this book might be about. Finishing it, I can say: the raw truth in this one is astonishingly precise. Nicely written: the style drags you into its story, and then you are left with its images, drawn by words.
