Reviews of Slightly Bruised and a Little Broken, a Memoir (Revised Edition) by Petite Breaux

An intense story from the writer who tells about her life. How she is being abused by her mother's stepfather, how this has shaped her life without knowing that it can come from abuse. How she picks out men who use her, both physically and sexually and for her money. How much effort it takes to shield her children from this violence, but later finds that her children have all seen enough to be careful in their life. Every time I find it special to read how broken children can come out stronger, find their inner strength and dare to stand for who they are. My compliments to Petite who dares to take us along in her struggle to live for who she is.
Intriguing book, thanks for writing and sharing
