Beachside PD: The Reluctant Knight
By Neil Yuzuk
Neil Yuzuk's novel, Beachside PD: The Reluctant Knight, brings on the action and keeps it coming chapter after chapter. Danny Phillips is a scam artist extraordinaire. He has been involved in some sort of con from the time he was a kid. It is how he got the money for college.
He became a wall street broker, and with the help of his sexy secretary, conned the wealthy to buy high risk stocks so that he could skim money from the transactions. But when that secretary found out she wasn't the only blonde in his book, she turned him in to the feds.
He wiggled out of doing jail time or having anything on his record but that's about all. He joins a friend in Florida and gets a job on the police force in Beachside. There he meets Anna Perez, Road Training Officer. They become unlikely partners chasing a pedophile who is kidnapping young boys.
Yuzuk ramps up the action with every chapter. This is a book to keep the reader up at night--reading. It is a book full of excitement, sex and mayhem; a real page turner.
