About the Series: Coin of Rulve
Twin brothers Sheft and Teller are born with the power to end the addiction and slavery imposed on their homeland by its voracious despot. To protect them from the lord who would destroy them, the brothers are raised in separate lands. Sheft lives in a backward village terrorized by Wask, a murderous entity from the nearby Riftwood. As a foreigner, he endures the suspicion and hostility of those who believe that the only act that would placate Wask is a human sacrifice. Teller is abducted into the underground stronghold of the very lord who hunts him. But Teller doesn’t know who he really is, so the lord’s initial mind-probe does not reveal it. Surrounded by cruelty and violence, the brothers cannot believe in their own power for good and deny their extraordinary destiny. They desperately need the help of the Seani, a small resistance community in which they were born—and the strength of two extraordinary women—to confront the shattering realization of what the Creator Rulve has called them to do. But the Seani leaders wonder if the twins are able to walk the savior’s path. Has their power been too badly corrupted, and will the sacrifice demanded of them be too great?
