About Tori Scott

Best Selling and award-winning author Tori Scott has been writing for 12 years and is a former Golden Heart finalist in the prestigious RWA writing contest. She won a Colorado Gold contest, was a finalist in numerous other contests, and lists several publications among her accomplishments, including a featured Christmas story in Woman's World magazine.

She's naturally curious about everything, which has led her to change careers often. As soon as she's learned all she can about one occupation, she's ready for the next. She's been a high school English and history teacher, a school principal, a child care director, a car salesman, a portrait consultant, and an insurance salesman.

Tori believes in love. She met her husband, Tony, on her first day of college at the age of 17 and knew the moment she met him that he was the one she was supposed to marry. She did, and they now live on 5 acres in the country with their dog Blue. They have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren spread from Massachusetts to southern California.

Tori loves reading, swimming, photography, traveling, and especially writing. She sets most of her books in Texas because she was born in West Texas, raised in North Texas, and now lives in East Texas. She's spent the last five years traveling the entire state for work, and even taught Texas history for a few years. She tries to write what she knows...and loves.

I love how this one got off the ground and running between Reed and Cassie. It didn't have the long drawn out wait for the main characters to hit the sheets and sometimes that's just down right refreshing! It cracks me up that Reed had a chocolate addiction and even has a "chocolate stash drawer" in his desk at the police station LOL, how cute!!! It was equally funny everytime Anderson tried to steal it hahaha. On another note I wanted to punch Amanda Mason the bitch! Reed was totally up front with her not leading her on in any way and she was just plain nuts, and a troublemaker. I really enjoyed this book it had depth, sizzling sex scenes and great characters. I definitely put this as a great read worth buying! Enjoy ;-)

Cassie is a spunky down-on-her-luck Texas woman. Desperate to move away from her hometown, where she can't do anything right anyway, she decides to start giving home shows for novelty items. You know the kind. The first couple of chapters where she's demonstrating the devices, especially when she's demonstrating in front of a group of septuagenarians, had me laughing out loud.

Enter Reed, vice cop, a man who she'd once had a crush on. They begin an affair, her never thinking her home shows are illegal, he never knowing that the woman he's investigating is the woman in his bed. Waiting for him to find out keeps you turning the pages!

I have just read Tori Scott's, "Undercover Vices." I found it to be a sassy and fun read. The characters were in-depth and easy to get to know. I loved the plot line and hope to see many more from Miss Scott. I have read both of her books and can't wait to read a new one. I recommend this book to anyone that loves a great romance story with a little fun, angst, and some hot loving.
