The plot was good but the explicit sexual scenes were unnecessary.

Loved this book! Couln't stop reading! Good plot, main characters I adored. I really enjoy period dramas in which the female main charater has a passion, in this case science/ chemistry, and try her best to pursue her apirations. Because of real women like them, most women today can have their professional life.
