About the Series: The One-Hundred
Every human baby is killed beneath the waves-with one exception: the one hundred thousandth is spared.

Among them, there are those chosen by the moon or sea, an ancient magic sweeping over them. They are called the One-Hundreds. But when one of the gifted rises, the darkness chases after her and hunts her down, loving her for his own selfish desires while another boy who's given up on love is drawn to her.

Unless Cressa-la can bring the darkness to his knees and fight the war raging inside of her, the world is doomed.

I don't usually review a book , but I feel I must comment on this series... I paid good money for the worst piece of work I have ever read! The plot would have been really good if it had been written by someone who could write with any kind of clarity. It was so muddled , You could not follow what was going on at any given time , it was so poorly explained. Like how did his former girl friend end up in the water? How come no one never did a thing about Tamir being thrown over a cliff? Sorry about being so harsh , but i feel if you don't know the truth , you will never improve . I will not be suggesting someone buy this .. a five year old would write and develop a better story.
