I like that this story celebrates humanities good points, differences and diversity.

The major plot points all work well together and the story progresses at a good pace.

I have downloaded the entire series, and expect to read them one after the other.

I loved this book. In electronic gadgets, I am always very distrustful if they promise all-in-one function. "Alien Alliance" is all in one, Space Opera, love story, coming-of-age-novel, discreetly hidden social criticism ... I could not stop reading and most urgently purchased the sequel on the morning after I had read "alien Alliance" to the end.

A good view of an alternative idea of space culture away from "everyone loves everybody" to, they're all alien monsters that will eat us. A good selection of possible extensions to the original story for further books but I'd like a way to ask the author what her plans actually are! I enjoyed this book. Good clear exposition and some interesting new ideas.
