About David Smith

This account has really been set up for me to practice formatting and uploading e-books for a writing group I attend called the Tunbridge Wells Writers. Not wanting to leap in with a full TW Writers' short story collection I am cutting my teeth with 'The Princess and the Peas' - a short social story I wrote years ago for parents of children with autism accessing an online forum I used to moderate... I will undoubtedly bung up other stuff under this personal account as time goes on, but in the meantime more of my writing and a more detailed biog can be found at the website / blog listed below.

The stories in this fine collection were written for a Hallowe'en celebration, so most of them are good fun, with an occasional note of realism to add a jolt of horror. I think this anthology is worth dipping into at any time of the year.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. 13 very well written horror (short stories, & poems, prose) book. They were all very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great horror movie, animated cartoon, or a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

I like this book. Every story is a shocker. The stories are bite sized and quick to read. But most importantly, this is horror in its unadulterated form. Well written and recommended. Definitely a five out of five...
