A good story, but the key plot point at the end should have had enough biological hints for the active characters that the inactive character should have not had such significant invasion. (

This short story is filled with imagery from the past; I thoroughly enjoyed it! The reason for the ‘Anatomy Inspector’? Oh, you have to find out! Well told; a quick and brilliant read.

It was the cover that attracted that me to The Anatomy Inspector, and I am so glad it did. Brilliantly written, the story had me hooked from the start. The descriptions of the characters brought them to life in such a natural way that I was instantly transported to the Victorian era. I recommend The Anatomy Inspector, and hope there will be more stories like it from this author.

I don't usually read Victorian (style) horror, but this one caught my eye so I gave it a go. I was glad I did and can recommend this dark tale to anybody who likes the era and the genre.
