About G M Lincoln

About the Author

I’ve always loved reading and was an avid reader as a child. My father used to call me Miss Nose-in-a-Book for I didn’t hear the call to the lunch or dinner table because I was engrossed in a book.
Teaching in New Zealand primary schools for over thirty five years, I’ve come across many wonderful books and reading them to my class is one of my favourite teaching activities.
I’m an avid traveller and aspects of the countries I’ve visited appear in this novel. I’ve been involved in setting up a sewing project in the leprosy colonies of Thailand. That’s where I learnt about leprosy.
My faith is very important to me and I include aspects of it in my books.
The Wind Rises, a fantasy, was my first novel and a wonderful challenge. My second work is a novella of 1930's New Zealand and called Alice's Secret.
Blessings: To This You Were Called came as a surprise and was the result of a study about how to pray effectively for others and myself.
