About Robert Bausch

Robert Bausch is the author of seven novels and one collection of short stories. He has been awarded the Fellowship of Southern Writers Hillsdale Award for Fiction, as well as the John Dos Passos medal in literature. His novel A Hole in the Earth was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, as well as a Washington Post Favorite Book of the Year. He has been a teacher of writing at Northern Virginia Community College since 1975. In that time, he has also taught at George Mason University, the University of Virginia, The American University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus.
