In the year 2050, Earth was on the brink of collapse. Pollution, deforestation, and overpopulation had left mankind's future up in the air. The was no hope - this is, until something extraordinary happened. Scientists discovered a wormhole that led to Mars and after much deliberation and research, it was decided that humans would colonize Mars. Flash forward 107 years later, humankind is thriving on Mars in a protected colony. 17 year old Owen Grey, the son of the colony's Commander, is adventurous yet reckless, causing his father much concern. Soon though, something else extraordinary happens. Reed Shepherd, an optimistic biologist proposes to lead a mission of young people to Earth to answer the question, "Has Earth changed for the better...or for the worse?" Last Call for Earth is a story about friendship, bravery, survival, hope, love, and above all, the sometimes complicated relationship between father and son.
