About Ash Krafton

USA Today Best-Selling Author and Pushcart Prize nominee Ash Krafton is a speculative fiction author whose work has been featured in Bete Noire, Niteblade Fantasy and Horror, and Red Penny Papers. She's the author of the Demimonde trilogy (BLEEDING HEARTS, BLOOD RUSH, and WOLF'S BANE), WORDS THAT BIND (The Wild Rose Press), and several volumes of poetry and short fiction. Most recently, she's working on a new urban fantasy series, The Demon Whisperer. CHARM CITY (Book 1) was released in August 2016; the sequel, MURDER THE LIGHT, came out May 2017. A prequel, STRAITJACKETS AND HOLY WATER, is forthcoming. Currently, she's getting ready to release TAKIN' IT BACK, an urban fantasy about a girl who works as the "repo man" for her dad's magical pawn shop.

She also writes for upper YA audiences (originally under the pen name "AJ Krafton"). Her debut novel, an historical fantasy titled THE HEARTBEAT THIEF, is a little bit Jane Austen, a little bit Edgar Allan Poe, and a whole lot about stealing heartbeats to stay young and beautiful forever.

Ms. Krafton resides in the heart of the Pennsylvania coal region, where she keeps the book jacket for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" in a frame over her desk. Visit www.ashkrafton.com to learn more about her books and upcoming appearances.

About the Series: The Demon Whisperer
Simon Alliant is an exorcist who battles demons, whether he wants to or not. Sometimes it's not so bad...he gets to play with magic, after all.

But for Simon, magic represents a demon of another kind. He's addicted to magic and it takes more than a handful of charms to keep that particular demon at bay.

Call him "exorcist". Call him "master of the dark arts". Call him "dime-store magician". Most names don't matter... not when Hell already knows yours.
