I get the impression that this author should stop trying to review people's work if he doesn't make any effort to understand it in context.

Interesting and captivating "Cinderella" style tale with mystical overtones. Two shrine keepers with supernatural abilities help out a girl. There's no real reason for their doing this -- or maybe I missed it -- but she goes along with it and things turn out well. The what and how are open to interpretation, so the readers can their own conclusions.
