I think this story has very good potential, but needs to be rewritten. First the grammar needs to be fixed (don't when written don' t --is very annoying to read--is that your keyboard doing that?) You need to research a little more. An example is when the main character is at the hospital, three nurses swarming around him is more likely than three doctors. And you need to flesh out your characters more. Flesh out your action scenes, every word you put into a story has a purpose for being there, and that includes the dialogue. Read a few more Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and your favorite authors, to get the hang of it, and continue to write. I'm serious. I have a short attention span and no patience and I had to finish the story to find out where it was going. Good luck!

Sort of taken off guard by the nature of this one. But it was interesting I suppose, just not my normal cup of tea. I appreciate the tough topic and the scenes in high school though as we have all been there!

This was an entertaining novella with several twists (one of which completely surprised me!). i enjoyed the angel/demon tie-ins and found the main character's empath abilities interesting. I can't imagine trying to go to high school and have such a gift. The fight scenes were not bad, the gore descriptions were well done and i thought that pool scene (no spoilers) was also handled well. There's enough details so that the author did not "shy away" from the subject matter, but not too many to make it gratuitous. In all this was an enjoyable read that made me think of my high school days, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Unfortunately this reads like quite a bit of fan fiction. The dialogue is stilted and does not flow well. The story skips from scene to scene with no segue. Some of the descriptions are unbelievable. Research gay sex if you seriously want to write it well.

I loved it. And that there's empath in this book is something very unique. And the name Lilly suits this book. Angels & demons & empaths, you should definitely read this if you like them & this genre. Interesting with many suprises.
