About Clover Autrey

Clover Autrey's books have been referred to as "Romance in the Safety Zone." She calls it Edgy Sweet. The pages are chock full of adventure, attraction, fantasy and love, safe enough to read with your daughter or your grandmother, yet not so sweet it will put you in a sugar coma.

Inspired by her love of Louis L'Amour historical romantic heroes, Clover (yeah, that's her real name), packed up and moved to Texas where she found a real live Texan of her own. She's been there ever since where she and Pat (who else would a Clover marry but a Patrick?) listen to the coyotes howl at the trains each evening.

Clover has had a love of stories and romance reading for as long as she can remember, especially inventing her own. She writes the kind of stories she loves to read, high fantasy and time travels with Scottish Highlanders or magical mermen, ghosts, and shapeshifters with powerful elements of romance, where the hero and heroine must each make sacrifices to gain something even stronger.

This story was action packed from the first page until the very end! It's definitely the most exciting ebook I've read in a long time! My only complaint is that I would have liked to know more about the characters and the back story. The characters seemed a little flat, but only because the story was so busy with action and dialogue. Still, this seemed like a great foundation for a series and I will definitely plan on reading the next book! Anyone who likes a good adventure story should definitely download this ebook. YOu will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Although a little on the short side, I loved this book. It was crammed full of action and male bonding between brothers and their father. Jake and Cal reminded me of a younger Sam and Dean but different in their own ways, too. I didn't notice any problems with grammar, spelling, etc. It seems to have been well edited. I've found a new author to read and can't wait to delve into the second book of this series.

This tale jumps right in with the paranormal action and just keeps on delivering with the turn of each page. The histories of the characters are woven within the action, so as not to bog the reader down with weighty exposition. Everything is well explained, so even readers new to the supernatural world will be able to enjoy the trill ride. The author cleverly whets your appetite, and by the end of the book you're left wanting to know more about these people. I'm eagerly anticipating the next book, "Banshee's Cry".

This book was such an enjoyable page turner from beginning to end that I finished it too quickly. Can I pre-order book two? I can't wait for the series to continue so I can adventure more with Cal, Jake and Henry!

The Demon Trackers by CC James is an action packed read. You barely have time to catch your breath from one traumatic event before you’re hit with the next heart stopping situation. An incredibly fine roller coaster ride from page one to the end.
While the book is aimed at the YA audience, this “very grown up” person found it a super read. Girls are going to go crazy over Cal and Jake, and older females will develop a “thing” for Henry, their father. Young men will see themselves in Cal and Jake, fighting the demons.
The relationship between the brothers is well drawn, and any parent can empathize with the angst Henry experiences when his children’s lives are in peril.
CC James has developed a world “peopled” with dreadful, ugly, scary beings. You won’t be able to put the book down, and this reviewer can’t wait for the next book in the series, Banshee’s Cry.

LOVED this book! It is so refreshing to find something that didn't feel like a knock off. The bond of brotherhood was very convincing, and the storyline seemed believable. I highly recommend this read. I'm all for series....bring on book 2! ;)

The relationship between the brothers is so real - the teasing, the love, the devotion. I'm looking forward to following Cal and Jake through future adventures.
