Andrea de Cesaris

Andrea de Cesaris had a lengthy Formula 1 race career and also drove sports cars in endurance races. He started with Alfa Romeo and McLaren and later drove for the fledgling Jordan team in the early 1990s. He earned five podiums and flirted with victory at Spa-Francorchamps on one occasion. The closest de Cesaris came to winning was at Monaco in 1982. His Alfa gave out of gas on the final lap. More
