Absolutely fantastic story. Very few people actually know what we go through everyday... And still go through years after we've stopped being active on the road. They don't realise that we get very little or no trauma support, even though EMS is a very stressful job.

Jess, you told every medic's untold story and I believe that you will touch a lot of people's lives with your story.

Well done on a book well written.

A poignant look at the other side of the EMS. Hits hard at truths we want to deny to ourselves. Thank you Jessica, it's a must read for anyone in the EMS...it's ok not to be ok.
