The bones are there in this picture book for a very good story. The photos and text are engaging, and it's not only educational, but fun to read. The author is obviously very passionate about her subject, and I hope that she is able to raise both understanding and funds for wildlife in the UK through her writing.
Sadly there were some major formatting issues in the kindle version I read. The photos themselves were gorgeous, but the formatting around them was very amateurish. Using different colours to differentiate between fictional and non fictional information was well intended, but it was very unprofessional in appearance. There were also other layout issues as well as some textual errors.
Nonetheless with some tweaks, this could become a great kid/s book.
