This was a dark and well-written story. The emotional aspects were done effectively. It was easy to visualize what was going on. Discrimination on the basis of hair is all too real in the modern world when it comes to people of color, even if it isn't usually this extreme.

The historical prejudice against redheads seems strange today, but it was real at one point. No form of prejudice is too absurd.

A nicely dark view on the blind hatred of any who see another as different from them, far too common a trait in our fellow human race.
