Review by: Kitty63 on Feb. 8, 2017 :
This is a rather strange story, but it is to be expected from a paranormal tale.

The writing is rather easy to follow and story itself is quite interesting and deeper than meets the eyes, dealing with the (invisible) authority's abuse of power (The two reapers, Veil and Grin are complete opposites, but they are funny when they communicate, and I especially love Veil's character and symbolism as an opportunistic, conniving, shady, self-serving, traitorous, sarcastic, mentally unstable, apathetic, malicious, sadistic and shockingly passionate girl in the end), the consequences of the power abuse on an innocent person's life, friendship, low-key sexuality (from what I gathered from the girls' dialogues), responsibilities, the ongoing conflict between self-interest and ethics and the uncertain results of such a conflict. It's a good story overall. The dialogues are fun to read and imagine, and the conversation between the body and the soul is quite interesting in my opinion. Nice read.

An interesting premise which the author handles well.
